Well it’s a sad day to see Le Chateau A Pape in Moncton to be gone due to a fire that started inside the restaurant. A fire burned down the famous landmark in Moncton in the early hours of the morning. It is stated that it is beyond repair. Many tourists that visit Moncton love to dine at Le Chateau A Pape. Many people loved the unique dining experience and the wonderful cuisine. I’m sure they’ll rebuild the restaurant but it was a part of Moncton’s history. We’re all sad to see that it’s gone.

It was a pretty big fire and it was hard for the firefighters to get under control with the high winds and extremely cold temperatures caused problems with some of their equipment and tired out firefighters quicker. What a shame to see it gone! Moncton just lost a great fine dining restaurant.
