Canada beats Slovakia with 3-2 win in the semi-final game against Slovakia to advance to the gold medal game rematch against the US at the Winter Olympics in Vancouver. Canada was a favourite to win this game but Slovakia fought back to come very close to tie the game up. They fell short but was a great game. Canada took a quick 3 goal lead against Slovakia in the first period to win the mens hockey game.

Now on Sunday Team Canada will face off against the US to see who will win the gold medal game. This rematch game between Canada and the US is one that many people have waited for and we’re all glad to see these two hockey teams square off once again at the Winter Olympics in Vancouver 2010. Many people didn’t think the US would make it to the gold medal game in hockey but they are the only undefeated team in the tournament.
