Yes hockey is a physical game but play with some class and not take cheap shots against other hockey players when they don’t know its coming. After these many recent events on how Patrice Cormier has been playing I have lost respect for that guy. Patrice Cormier from Cap-Pele may have lost some hometown respect too.

I would like to take this time and wish you all a Happy New Years and much success in 2010. For some people 2009 was a great year and others look forward for better things to come in 2010. I hope all your dreams and goals for 2010 will be achieved. Have a great New Years Eve party and drink responsibly. Don’t drink and drive and I wish you all a very Happy New Year.

Hope all your kids got a lot of tricks and treats for Halloween and to the adults hope you all had some cool Halloween parties that were going on tonight too. Happy Halloween!

The Public Health Officials are saying that it’s not a lack of H1N1 vaccine and are not stating what the real case is. They are covering up the truth as not having enough needlesis a major case of them not being prepared in New Brunswick. How can they make such a huge mistake??? No wonder they are covering up the truth. The security guard in Shediac stated, ” We have the H1N1 vaccine but what the problem is they ran out of needles.” Come on! They’ve known about this forever and how can they make such a huge mistake and error. It makes me so angry as people are scared and every right so. Someone will be held responsible when this becomes well known to the public.

On top of this did you know that the prisoners have already been vaccinated for the H1N1 flu virus. Seems like they have more priority then us. So one they forgot to order enough needles, criminals are given higher priority then the public and healthcare workers, what’s next??

This may be one of the biggest vaccination programs in Canadian History but also one of the most unorganized events ever. After recent events people are seeing things unfold before them with lack of planning is being shown to the public. The biggest one is the lack of needles, how can you honestly make that mistake. If you have 10,000 doses for the H1N1 flu virus you better make sure you have 10,000 needles or syringes to administer to the public. Common sense, period! Running out of the H1N1 vaccine is kind of acceptable as you never know how many people will take it, still not even an excuse as we’ve been told there is plenty to go around and are almost demanding that everyone gets vaccinated but to run out of needles it is unacceptable. They better not try to cover up the truth when the truth was discovered today by a public health officer telling one of the security guards in Shediac. The H1N1 flu virus is here and the Government of New Brunswick is letting the people down. Lack of needles can you honestly believe it??

What do you think? Lack of needles causes all H1N1 clinics across New Brunswick to be canceled, how is that even possible??? Do you honestly think they were prepared for this and why wasn’t all clinics opened up at the same time. We’re behind this and the Government of New Brunswick better get their act together! They still don’t know when they will resume the H1N1 flu shots and they basically playing this day to day. Where’s the plan?

Here are 11 Halloween safety tips all parents and kids should be aware of:

1. Kids should be wearing reflective strips and carry those fluorescent lights that kids can wear as a necklace  or ones like bracelets too.

2. Give your child a flash light so he can see where he or she is going.

3. Children love buying Halloween costumes but try and stay clear away from the masks. Halloween masks can make it hard for kids to see, trip and cause injuries. Try sticking to face paint instead.

4. Make sure that whatever costume your kids are wearing for Halloween that nothing is dragging where other kids can step on or trip going up stairs.

5. Children should never go out alone. Always have adult supervision or let your children go out in groups with friends if they are old enough.

6. Children should never enter a person’s home to get treats and should only go to houses with lights on.

7.  When trick or treating kids should always trick or treat down one side of the road and then the other. Do not criss cross and always try and cross at intersections or crosswalks.

8. Make sure your kids stay away from open flames like candles as Halloween costumes and products such as coloured hair spray are extremely flammable.

9. All Halloween treats should be inspected by an adult before your children eat them. Make sure to tell your kids before hand. All treats that have wrappers opened or treats that could be easily tampered with and not sealed properly should be discarded.

10. All young children should be accompanied by an adult. For older kids provide them with a cell phone so that you can reach them or they can reach you if need be in case of emergency.

Halloween is one of the best times for kids right up there with Christmas but with everything all good times can come to an end quickly if injuries happen. Always be safe when doing anything and simple things can be done to make sure everyone has a very safe and injury free Halloween night by following some safety tips.

May you and your family have a great and Happy Thanksgiving Weekend! Thanksgiving is a time where family and friends get together and enjoy a great turkey dinner but why is it only a couple times a year that we all gather around. We all live hectic lives and sometimes we don’t get together as much as a family should. It’s funny how sometimes our busy lives interfere with some of the most important parts of life, your family. Lets be thankful and enjoy the time together that we have this Thanksgiving Weekend!

This year people should really be fortunate and thankful for life in general. Many people here in 2009 have lost their jobs due to the recession and are still having tough times. Lets be thankful for what we have, our health, our jobs and our family. Things always work out at the end but getting there may be a tough journey ahead. Lets be greatful for what we have as there are people out there who much have worse situations. For those still dealing in tough times, keep your heads held high and keep going futher, things will change for the better. Enjoy your family and let all your love ones help you through. Family is Thanksgiving, and as long as we have each other, everyone will have a Happy Thanksgiving. Wishing you all a very Happy Thanksgiving as we gather around with all our family and friends.
