Team Canada has won gold medal in men’s hockey after a 3-2 win over the USA in overtime. What a Olympic finish for team Canada in Vancouver 2010. With Canada’s gold medal victory over the US they have officially set a record for most gold medals ever during an Olympic Games. With this gold medal Canada finishes with 14 gold medals at the Winter Olympics in Vancouver 2010.

Sidney Crosby’s golden overtime goal was a sweet one after having a gold medal within reach during regulation time. Team Canada allowed team USA to score with only 24 seconds left by Zach Parise to tie it up makes this victory that much better. Sidney managed to get the winning goal past star goalie Ryan Miller during OT. What a great hockey game! How Ironic is is that Sidney Crosby won the game for Canada after going the last 3 games without a point. When it all mattered Sid The Kid scores the golden goal that means the most. Now Sidney Crosby has a Stanley Cup and now an Olympic Gold Medal in Men’s Hockey at only 22 years old.
Goals for Team Canada were Corey Perry and Johnathan Toews during regulation time and for US it was Ryan Kesler and Zach Parise with only 24 seconds left in regulation time to score for Team USA to force overtime.
