Great picture Jared Hartley, you look very proud to be a firefighter. I am reminded of the woman you saved in the vehicle crash on Hwy 114. Single handily, you used the axe to remove the windshield and got her out of the vehicle just before it caught fire. The RCMP office on call that day was very impressed at your courage and professionalism as you took charge of a very serious situation.

Due to the allegations posted ... FB was down for me, I had posted the pics and tried to re-add them. I gave people a second option with adding me to vote and all of a sudden the comments start coming in about me cheating and such. I'm not favortising, I simple want the winner to be the best photo in that group, whether it be the fireman, Nicole or any other photo.

FB was acting up, sending me messages from days before, deleting comments then all of a sudden resurfacing, as well as removals all together.

With all the issues surrounding the comments on the new article ... I have removed all the photos off FB from my personal profile and re-added them and managed to upload everything to the group 1 by 1. The photos are now available on both pages (mine & FACEs group). All photos are currently were at zero votes. As its been said about me cheating or wanting my friends to win by me voting on a couple photos.

This is strictly a FB thing. As said before in the album description these were the pics voted on by the fans, not me. At the gala, the photos I feel that have been best all year will be displayed.

People are making this out to be a popularity contest, and not a best photo contest. This was supposed to be a fun way to end such a fantastic project, instead its resulted in rumors and assumptions.

My apoligies to any of you who think different.

Thanks Nick for clearing that up and letting us know! I had that changed for you above as well as your comment explains to everyone about your 1111 Faces Project.

I will also add that to our local events section to let people know about your Gala Exhibit which will be held in the New Year at the Vie.

Keep up the great work Nick and we wish you much success with any future projects you do. Truly amazing work!

Hey there, I have just noticed that on Nov 22nd, someone wrote an article about my 1111 FACES photo project. Its a great article and I just wanted to thank who ever wrote it. But there are a few mistakes. Its said in the article that its a FACEbook photo contest, this is not true and that donations from sponsors will be given out at the gala.

What is actually happening is that I started on Jan 1st'09 and was attempting to photograph 1111 different people by Jan 1st'10. I managed to complete my project on November 11th'09.

As for the voting, ever 111 people were considered a group, 10 groups in total. During the voting of each group fans on FACEbook will vote on their favorite pic. Once all the winners from each group have been decided I will be making a album on FB for fans to decide the best photo of the year. The winner of the "year photo" will recieve some sort of gift from a sponsor. All 10 groups have had a winner and as of Wednesday evening I'll be posting a ablum on FACEbook for fans to vote on the "Photo of the Year".

I just wanted to clarify that FACEs is not a photo contest, that it is going to be an amazing gala exhibit. It will open to the public and be held @ "Vie" Tapas & Lounge on Jan 11th, 2010. "Vie" is located in Robinson Square.

Again tell your blogger, thank you for taking the time to write about my project. I do appreciate it.

Thank You.
