When the Cosmo Night Club in Moncton closed down people were sad to see it go. Until now! The old Cosmo or should I say new is back in Moncton! The grand re-opening of Club Cosmo located at 700 Main St. in Moncton will be on Halloween Night Saturday October 31st starting at 8pm right till 2am.

We all have our own memories from Club Cosmo Night Club when we were going out in our clubbing days from Wednesday wing nights to Friday night Jazz and plenty of live music. Those were the good old days! Downtown was amazing then, when there was the Cosmo, Fat Tuesday’s, Ziggy’s and Spanky’s. Those were the places I knew in my younger days. Glad to see Cosmo back in Moncton as we all have memories of good old times in our partying days.
With all the recent events going on in Moncton with the bouncer issue at a nearby local night club, they couldn’t have picked a better time for the Grand Re-Opening of The New Cosmo. Now people will have more of a choice on where to go out to dance and have a great time. Young people can experience a new downtown bar while you might even get some Club Cosmo Fans out of retirement

I heard rumour of the Cosmo coming back but now I know for sure. I am super excited, I use to pretty much live there. I use to go there all the time….. Way to go! Looks like I know where I’ll be Halloween Night! You can count me in

Have just received the most-welcomed news that The old Cosmo is getting back into the swing of things. With the inclusion of Jazz Generation for your Friday night fill-up, you could not have made a better choice. These guys don’t just play a little jazz; they are by far superb jazz musicians whose ‘live’ work I had the pleasure of producing some time ago for their private use. Gotta get my Montreal ass in gear – winter or not – and get me down there for one of their Friday night gigs!

This is great news! It’s wonderful to know that the Old Cosmo is going to be back in business. I’m looking forward to seeing all of my old friends at the Friday Night Jazz.
I just found out the Cosmo is coming back. What a great time we had there in the 90′s and even early 2000′s. I will certainly check it out with my friends. Hope they have contest like before.

I just read this story (http://www.monctonblogger.com/2009/10/the-new-old-cosmo-is-back-in-moncton-night-club-grand-opening-oct-3109-halloween-night/); I’m moving to the area in April, and I’m not having any luck finding any websites for the clubs in Moncton that offer Jazz music…I don’t know if it’s a problem with google, or if there just aren’t any websites…I can’t find any other references for the Cosmo either. Can someone let me know of a reliable resource for finding Jazz clubs or Jazz nights? (By the way, I’m a professional keys player if anyone is looking…) cmyngbl@mta.ca
