Well the H1N1 flu shots are being sent across Canada but waiting for approval to start giving the vaccine shots to the public. Every year people get the regular flu shot and now were are facing this H1N1 pandemic. People are left weary and unsure what they should do? So many comments being made on the safety of this and all provinces seem to be doing there own thing. Some have elected to wait for the H1N1 flu shot while others went ahead and are doing both others waived the regular flu shots all together. What does the public think on this matter? Should people across Canada and here in our own city of Moncton get the H1N1 flu shot?
What makes me weary and I’m sure a lot of you are in the same boat is whether or not this H1N1 flu shot is safe. Was enough testing done or was it rushed to get this out to the public where mistakes could have been made. With little to no testing do we really know the effects and if it’s safe to administer? I for one never get the flu shot and I never get it every year (knock on wood). I did however was sick was last year when that Norwalk was around completely immobilized people. That was the sickest I ever was and regardless on whether people got the flu shot or not they still got it. That was the worse flu virus I have seen ever and some of you may have experienced it yourself. It was nuts! It was the first time I was sick in years but this is something that went around quick and affected many.
While writing this post, on the news it states that the H1N1 flu vaccine has received approval from Canada Health Department. Question I ask is why would all those H1N1 flu vaccine shots be sent out to all provinces even before they approved it? What if they didn’t approve it, would they have sent it all back? Doesn’t really make sense. You think it would be approved before being shipped out. If they are rushing things so much do you feel safe or will you go without this year with all the different views on this new vaccine. Within a few days Canadians will start getting the H1N1 vaccine but how do you feel about all the different information you see on the news about this new drug.
Now this year we are faced with this H1N1 flu virus and what should people do? What are your thoughts on the seasonal flu shot and most importantly the H1N1 flu shot. Do you feel safe using this drug? Do you feel like it was thoroughly tested enough or was rushed? Share your thoughts and whether or not you will be getting this H1N1 flu shot when it arrives or are we just guinea pigs being tested on?

The H1N1 vaccine is a live pathogen, strengthened with unreasonably high doses mercury and other kinds of toxic goodness. The H1N1 vaccines were rushed to the market too quickly for any clinical trials to be done. Aware of this, the pharmaceutical company actually signed a waiver dropping any and all legal responsibility in the case of any adverse effects of the vaccines.
If you do take the vaccine, be aware that it has been linked to Guillain-Barré Syndrome, a disease permanently affecting your nervous system and can sometimes cause death.

Thanks for sharing those two videos all about the H1N1 vaccine. It definitely will give people more information on whether or not to get the H1N1 flu shot. That’s sad in the first video of how that regular flu shot affected this young lady. This regular flu shot has been out for years but now they are going to give people this new shot with not much testing. Crazy! I seen two more videos on YouTube as well and I will share with everyone later on, interviews with disease experts who won’t even dare take this drug. I know I won’t be getting this and I take it Matt from your post you won’t be either.
Sounds to me there is more bad news about this H1N1 vaccine then there is good. But with everything in life you need to make an educated decision based on many facts to ultimately come to the right decision your happy with.
H1N1 will it really help us or will it make us more sick with potential life altering effects???? Who really knows, so many mixed views, but that’s life everyone has a difference of opinion. No wonder people are finding it hard and don’t know what to do!
I gave permission for my 2 daughters to go for the H1N1 vaccine; now after watching the video above, I’m afraid to even have them get it. It’s so darn hard to make a major decision like that, it’s very scary. I think it has been exxagerated and everyone is afraid and confused.
Hi Suzanne,
I know how you feel. My wife and I have been wondering the same thing what to do about this H1N1 vaccine and watching those two videos, it doesn’t help.
What gets me and I may be wrong but what I have heard is that we sign a consent form basically waiving all rights in case something happens. If this is indeed correct that doesn’t put much faith in the people who supposedly approved this new vaccine and saying that it’s safe. It’s like playing russian rouelette, dammed if we do dammed if we don’t.
After the latest death in Ontario of a young healthy 13 year old boy who died of the H1N1 flu virus it can basically kill anyone. Don’t matter if your young, old or in between. What makes it hard for parents is how the media plays it, exaggerates it may be, or is it plain business that the H1N1 vaccine manufacturer put so much emphasis on this and created such a hype to get the contract and make money. Who knows?? Regardless like you said everyone is confused.
If we get the H1N1 flu shot and something happens it will devastate us and if we don’t and something happens to our child with the H1N1 it will kill us as parents doing the wrong decision.
What also gets me is how unprepared I feel they are. there was over 3 hour wait times in Moncton for one. Yes they can’t vaccinate everyone at once but why wouldn’t they open up all clinics at once. That’s what should have been done! If I were in charge a call centre would have been set up in local cities taking phone calls and then have clinics roled out all at once in the city. Instead 5 or 6 nurses wwere giving H1N1 flu shots. Should have been all set up and planned, quickly, according to minimize delays and make it go as smoothly as possible. We’ll have to wait to see how the clinis opened up at schools plays out and see if it’s any better.
I haven’t decided yet but we drove by today almost stopping but like every parent out there all we want to do is make the right decision. What is it, get the H1N1 shot because people are telling us too? or not as we believe that it was rushed to us with not enough testing and does contain mercury?? The video got me, the doctors comment stays with me. What do we do?
We’re probably going to get it but it is with great hesitation. All I can do is pray that our family is safe from it and yours as well. It’s those videos that got me worried and has gained my attention. What a tough decision for any parent to make!
Me and my family have gotten the vaccine, and proud of it. Half of what the people say isn’t even true. For instance about the Mercury anyone that eats tuna has a higher dose of mercury every time they eat the Tuna then in the vaccine and a lot of other bad stuff they say is just to scare parents. The government is not out to kill or cripple us all, therefore, would not be giving them out for free to us, like I said if it where so bad, the Dr’s wouldn’t be taking it and giving it to there children.

YES!!!!!!!!
Yes I do agree now after all the recent outbreaks of H1N1 in Moncton and all of New Brunswick people should. There are an estimated 2000 cases of H1N1 now in NB and will continue to grow. Better safe then sorry as this swine flu has been spreading across the province quickly. Crazy how fast H1N1 cases are appearing!
