Where should I start with the 2001 Oldsmobile Alero, oh yes my car won’t start! Today yet again our 2001 Alero won’t start again….. We just had this same car issue 2 weeks ago. The car engine turns over really good but the Alero just won’t start! I tried everything that I already knew and learned from on how to fix 2001 Oldsmobile Alero when it won’t start. Despite all my efforts we had to have it towed which cost us $115 to get it to the garage. You wouldn’t guess what happened next! The mechanic turned the key when it got there and my Alero started right up. How reliable is this car, it seems to have a mind of its own on whether it wants to start or not.
After reading several articles online, it seems I am not alone on this issue. It seems like many people have the same car complaints about this vehicle. In my opinion shouldn’t GM have noticed this problem and addressed the issue and sent out a recall for all faulty parts? You would think so but after calling GM about this there are no recalls on this at all. If everyone has the same problem time after time wouldn’t you think there would be something wrong if people are having the same problem!!! You would think but at the end we get stuck with a Oldsmobile Alero that won’t start costing us money in the long run.
So do I think Oldsmobile Alero’s are a great car to buy, not at all in my opinion. So if you would like to get a reliable car, stay clear away from Alero’s. One day your car will start and then the next day it won’t. If you do a Google search on ” 2001 Oldsmobile Alero Won’t Start “, you will know exactly what I am talking about. You know what’s funny is the people are having the same exact car problem. You wonder why GM is going through tough times as I am sure they knew all about these complaints but yet do nothing about it. They should have recalled the faulty parts and taken care of their customers. It would have been the right choice to do!
Having problems with your Oldsmobile Alero? Won’t start for you either? Lets here your story and outcome, maybe we’ll be heard.
